my previous posts I have discovered that I have never talked about Alex Grey , maybe
good for the people I live is something common , and I have not thought necessary, but .... ...
may be that not all is well . Well 
Alex Grey is one of my favorite modern artists, not only for painting but by a culture thing globalized, but not because there are millions of followers of this culture (of which I am not fan) but because they are spread all over the world with small groups. As ex Al gray image who gives this semi-movement.
A lover of art culture, thought, the cosmos, love and other issues for which no differs by me.
Speaking of Alex Grey as a painter. It is these people who have the ability to do what many want, but used to do what nobody else happens. With great knowledge of anatomy and always with the thought by scaling and beyond. That's why not only expressed with paint, also a sculptor and author of several books on art, with small illustrations and content.

His paintings speak of political , religion, history, soul and spirit on the same gear. Speaking of technical , the geometry making an important role, and the color is a majority element, is not tempted the heart with tubes of paint for grabs all. And I said because of culture? I think it has traveled and met thinkers around the globe and combines all these thoughts to be the same and part of his life.
The geometry , manages things really difficult that for those who know geometry all lines and curves that are used someone else would use to reach an outcome, but instead in these paintings are an important part.
The detail, practices an extremely meticulous detail, even in large format works (almost wall) takes the time to give effect and tinkering in very small segments. From the general to the particular as it should be ... Well ....
I already stretched lot ... just look at works
